I find it funny in an odd sort of way that things seem to just happen where I’m able to find something to post based on every day’s subject on the 30 day photo challenge. Today, something fun, my son asked me to play ‘Little Big Planet’ on the Playstation 3. He hasn’t asked me to do this in a while but he loves to watch me play it so that in turn is really fun for me. This is where I currently am on the map.

It took me a bit walking around my house to figure out what I wanted to share for today’s subject ‘Something I made’.  It was hard finding something I haven’t already posted on my blog.  Then I came along these in my craft room that were just sitting idle and never even noticing they were there before today.  I made these probably in 3rd or 4th grade…they are supposed to be wreaths. I turned them into magnets or pins for my teachers to either wear or use on their fridges.  I used to have this small plastic circular loom machine, where you put the yarn on it, then turn the crank and it makes a long tube of knitted yarn. Then I finish it off, and roll it all up into the shape you see above. Then I tied a piece of yarn on it for an accent.  So out of all my posts on my blog, I think this is the oldest thing I’ve posted that I’ve made.  I remember being pretty proud of them.Â

I want to take this time to thank Sherry with Oh So Lovely for hosting this excellent challenge. I’m really taking trips down memory lane with alot of these :)

Well I did it! I made my head disappear JUST for today’s photo challenge subject!  (with a little help from a web cam mirror effect that is!)  :)

What is on YOUR craft table right now?

They are not going to get done if I don’t get started so in an effort to stop procrastinating I finally had the guts to cut into my yellow gingham fabric that I got on fabric.com to begin my new kitchen curtains.  All that remains is to cut the curtain lining and I can then begin to sew! Progress sure does feel good…I highly recommend it :D

The first thing I think of when I hear the word technology is first and foremost my computer.  My laptop I have to say is one of my current treasures. Computers are  invaluable to me because it is SO many things :  my typewriter / word processer, my canvas (photoshop drawing/designing) , my own library (google) ,  music player,  movie player, store (amazon), accountant, video editor, music editor, telephone (skype w/video), photo editor, arcade, mailbox (well…of the ‘e’ kind), my job (website design & development)  …and that is it off the top of my head!  What does your computer mean to you? Can you go a whole day without this technological advancement?…that is what i thought.  :)
