A few times a year, I really go major clothes shopping cause we have a local consignment shop that has $3 dollar days and also a local salvation army store that has 50% off everything in the store days.
This consignment shop is really great this time of year because of this 3, 2, 1 sale. Friday teal tags are $3, Saturday teal tags are $2, and Sunday teal tags are $1. I didn’t find a whole lot this year, 13 items, but what I got are very basic pieces that I think I can make work. I’ll post the brands and what was the regular price
Loft – Grey Wool Blazer – Priced $22
I watch the vlogs of Emma Hill, who is a style blogger and she is basically known for wearing blazers. I like the look so i wanted to try it out to see if I could pull it off, and this was the nicest blazer I found that fit nice and quality and lined as well.
Christopher and Banks – Black Slim Crop Pants – Priced $15
Aeropostale – Dark Wash Skinny Jeans – Priced $11
I put a lot of my dress pants I have for work in yard sale so needed some new black pairs. I wanted to try a cropped pant this spring that I think I can pull it off with some flats or low heels. Then my mom who I went with actually found these jeans tucked away in another section (sorry if anyone hid them there to come back on the dollar day!) but I swooped them up cause they were my size…so i had to.
Three pairs of shoes – Black Boots, Brown Ankle Heels, and Brown Heels – Priced $11 – $18
Shoes were also a part of the $3 dollar sale. I didn’t realize I didn’t have the tags for these, but I put a range that I think they cost regular. The black boots and the brown ankle strapped heels my mom found. The Clarks, I found.
Cable and Gauge – Black and White Striped Top – Priced $11
I never heard of this brand, but I only found out when I got home that it was dry clean only, so to me there must be some quality behind it with that being the case. I already wore this so far, and it’s now a favorite.
Loft – Blue Cardigan – Priced $12
Found another item from Loft, this blue almost periwinkle cardigan I think will go with a dress I currently have in my closet.
Old Navy – Navy and White Striped Shirt – Priced $7
I like me a striped shirt here a late, so picked this one up.
Croft & Barrow – Blue Sweater – Priced $12
Good condition, soft sweater that is longer, and I love 3/4 sleeves. Still winter with a foot of snow today (first day of spring I might add!)…so sweaters still come in handy right now!
Melon Summer Top – Priced $12
Okay, I know this may not work, but ever see something you like but can’t explain it. Yeah, this was one…it could be a cover for a cool spring day with a camisole and skinny jeans that i’m seeing for this. Just a casual saturday outfit.
Liverpool – Grey Jean Jacket – Priced $17
Okay, this is another ‘try’ for my closet. I needed some lightweight jackets for spring and I’ve seen people wear denim jackets so I’m going to see if I can pull them off too. For $3, why wouldn’t I try right?
That is it! What have you gotten at the thrift store lately?
