Okay I know this is another craft supplies post, but now not only am I coming across deals at yard sales, but now family members are finding me to give their no longer wanted craft supplies too! How can you say no to such a gracious gift!
Lets start with wooden stamps! My mother called me last friday over lunch and said she went to a womens yard sale who was getting rid of all her wooden stamps. Over 150 stamps! These are not the small ones either, they are the large background kind.
Then my aunt no longer does crafting as much as she used to so was ready to just purge it all and was gracious enough to bring alot of her supplies for me to go through! Among other things were all of this ribbon!
Here is the 1/8 ribbon…
Here is the 1/4 and 1/2 ribbon which is my most used size…
I ran out of foam core bobbins for my ribbon storage drawer so I started putting them on top. I realize with this many to wind now, I don’t think the bobbins are ideal for me to store my ribbon this way. I’m planning an alternative way to organize my ribbon in this drawer…stay tuned!
Craft Room Re-Do! I’m also in the midst of planning another craft room re-do. It involves painting, new curtain, reogranization of my supplies, filling in the paneling with wood filler on the ceiling for a smooth surface, possibly even putting in a wood laminate, pergo floor! So not alot of time to craft right now…alot of just planning for the makeover. We’ll see!
