Happy Friendship Day Cards
Not sure if this is done everywhere, but at our local school it’s not ‘Valentines Day’ it’s ‘Friendship Day’. Also, they are called ‘Friendship Cards’. Anywhoo, I wanted to do this idea I found on a blog last year but didn’t get too until now. I love how they turned out but it was not without it’s trial and errors! I started with taking i swear 15 photos until I got the best possible 2 (my poor kid lol!) and I decided to use both. I put them in photoshop, sized them down and changed them to black and white because i knew i wanted a red cardstock backing.
I printed and cut all the cards photos and red backs. Instead of cutting small slits, I thought just using a hole punch would suffice so I figured out the angle for each lollipop in accordance to his hands, and punched them all at once with my Crop-A-Dile II.
The trial and error part came in the form of ALMOST tearing one of the cards that my kid signed putting in one of the lollipops that was too large for the holes. So I reinforced the backs with tape and re-punched the holes.
