My Picks for Eurovision 2011
EDIT: Well I just went to Eurovision’s official website and it’s tomorrow already there and they have 5/15 dates on the site saying that someone I didn’t pick won the competition. Oh well. Here is a link to the winning eurovision 2011 song
I know this is my crafting blog. Every now and then like now I’d like to post something that is interesting to me so this goes in the Daily Life category.
Without Youtube I would never have known that this even existed. With 2009s Alexander Rybak ‘Fairytale’ it got me interested in learning about this competition. It’s called Eurovision and it’s a song contest for obviously just countries in Europe.
Here is Alexandar Rybak’s “Fairytale” that won in 2009
So for 2011, here are my picks. I’m not sure where they are in rankings, but these are the ones that I think should make it. These all are just 2 minute clips as previews of the songs. The groups also create a music video for them. After these previews, I’ve added the official music video clips of my most favorite songs. They have the entire song.
Eldrine sings “One More Day” – Georgia
Aurela Gace sings “Feel the Passion” – Albania
Evelina Sasenko sings “C’est Ma Vie” – Lithuania
Sjonni’s Friends sings “Coming Home” – Iceland
Yuksek Sadakat sings “Live It Up” – Turkey
Emmy sings “Boom Boom” – Armenia
Anna Rossinelli sings “In Love For A While” – Switzerland
Glen Vella sings “One Life” – Malta
Nina sings “Caroban” – Serbia
We’ll see if one of my picks win 🙂
Here are the official music videos with the whole song. These are my most favorite of the songs:
Eldrine – One More Day (Georgia)
Aurela Gaçe – Feel The Passion (Albania)
Yüksek Sadakat – Live it up (Turkey)
