Protect and Store Storage Containers Are Working For Me
I was browsing one of my favorite websites to buy things from called ConsumerCrafts.com because they were having a free shipping weekend near labor day, and I came across these Protect and Store Storage containers and thought i’d try them out to organize my awfully stuffed drawers in my hutch. They have 12 x 12 sizes but I ordered four 8.5 x 11 sized ones, and fourteen 5 x 7 ones since I knew I had alot of smaller type supplies to organize.
It just got to a point after collecting so many different supplies that trying to see what I had at a glance in these deeper drawers got so cumbersome.
I purged a very small amount of items and I was able to put like items all into one container and this is a huge improvement to now be able to see all my duct tape colors. In the back left, you’ll see 3 stacked 5 x 7 containers.
Before, I tried to put things in bags to organize my stuff but for items shaped like this…they just didn’t work for me.
So here, I had all my bind it all spines, and other white boxes of stuff with just written labels on the side.
Now, I can even pull out each one of the boxes without disrupting any other stuff to just get the box I need. This drawer holds one 8.5 x 11 that holds all my bind it all spines, and eight 5×7 containers that hold all the rest. You’ll notice in the back right, the hats on sticks that are now neatly arranged. This will also protect any supplies from getting smashed before being used.
With this one, it has one 8.5 x 11 to hold all my index cards I wanted to try to use for my japanese binding books I make. This helps me take those smaller items and put them all in one container which keeps things straight to fit in the other stuff much better than it was.
For me the price was right as well…here is a link to the 5 x 7 sized protect and store containers and 8.5 x 11 protect and store containers. I didn’t get these but here are the 12 x 12 protect and store containers as well.
