Received a request today to update my road sign birthday invitations (route 4) with a 2 since her son is that age. I thought i’d offer the results here as well incase anyone had a 2 year old who was having a birthday party.
Here is the UPDATED Age 2 Road Sign Invitation
I noticed alot of traffic comes to my site from that ‘road sign party’ keyword so I thought i’d also share a couple of other ideas we did for his party with pictures…
First, here are the high resolution JPGs that you can download and cut out. These are invitations but you could also cut them out individually as signs to decorate treat bags with. I can see them on black treat bags. The bold colors would stand out.
Here are the files again. They are high resolution (150dpi – 8.5 x 11 )

Here are some other ideas from the party:
Cake Decoration – Tinted icing green, and dabbed it all over with a knife to add textures like grass sort of. Then made a chocolate sprinkle road with white icing lines. Found these small plastic cars, and as you can see printed some smaller signs and put them on toothpicks.
Decorate the Table – Found a black plastic table cloth in my halloween decorations, and folded white pieces of paper and taped them down the middle to look like a road.
Extra decor: My sister and brother in Law were gracious enough to surprise me by making these awesome signs. They used Red, Yellow, and White foam core board, wooden dowels, and drilled a hole in a wood blocks for stands. My sister painted on the words and imagery.
My son loved driving through them all on his tricycle.
We also picked up these plastic signs from Toys R Us:
Pedestrian Toy Road Sign: Toys R Us
This was the only one I found on their site. There is also a yeild sign that we were lucky to find.
Hope this small update helps further with everyone looking for ideas for a road sign birthday party.
Thank you for visiting!
