Yard Sale at Times to Remember
Went to Times to Remember that was having a yard sale today and I’m sure glad I got there when it opened. People were shoulder to shoulder around their tables in the back of the store so it took about an hour and a half to get to all the boxes of stuff. Here is what I came out with totalling $36.50.
I went for tools, but managed to grab a mixed bag of items including embellishments, stencils, die cuts, embossing folders.
Here are some journaling tags (50 cents each), and this twill sayings for ‘mother’ (1 dollar) i had to get because I have the same twill sayings for father as well.
Spring sticker stack from dcwv was 2 dollars, metal alphabet embellisments in the middle (1 dollar) and other various phrase embellishments.
Upper left, is a brass stencil I thought was neat. You cut the paper to the curves, then you can fold it back and tuck the cut curve into the curve before it. Makes an interesting embellishment that I thought would be neat. The stitches are braided string but has adhesive on it so I thought I could form it into a word for a title of a page.
On the left, is an engraving tool (3). Thought this might be interesting to maybe distress with, or write on things for a different look. The only paper I got was a dcwv mat stack for 3.
Post extenders, 3 packs of envelopes for 50 cents a piece, some pretty jingle bells for present toppers.
Here is a journaling line stencil that was 50 cents. The two bottles are two different brands of dimensional glossy accents.
I wasn’t going to delve into using glitter and embossing powder but these were only a quarter. I’m hoping to find an inexpensive heat tool. The pens on the right are pen adhesives. I’ve found a couple different brands, so I’m trying them all to see which I like more so picked these up for 2 a piece.
Starting on the left, these are decorative borders. I got the trains for a train page for my son. The other is bears that look like boyds. For one dollar some alphabet epoxy stickers.
These all came in one pack. Some Sizzix embossing folders, with 4 original sizzix dies for 5 dollars.
I would definetly go back next year. 😀
Thanks for visiting.
