Yard Sale Finds – Fabric and Supplies
Not much ‘making’ at the moment to post…finding a lot of supplies however at yard sales and yes i’m finding justification in my stash building as stocking up for the winter months where lots of ‘inside’ time allows for more crafting…yeah that’s it.
Here is a whole bag of good size and varieties of fabric I found for 7 dollars. Nice Christmas theme fabric, fleece, cotton, and even novelty fabric which I normally wouldn’t buy but since it’s boy themed would be nice to incorporate in the quilted composition book covers I’ve been planning to make.
Here is my favorite from the bunch. Thinking now about using it for making a camera bag insert for my purse I’ve been planning. Basically I want to be able to carry my dslr camera safely inside my purse so that I only have to use one bag instead of carrying an additional camera bag and figured I could make one myself.
A nice looking spool shelf for a couple of dollars. I think I may just keep it this color. Keeping it though depends on if my tall spools fit on the shelves which remains to be seen.
Next I found these nice looking templates that even though I know they are to put confectioners sugar or sprinkles decorations on top of cakes, I thought I could use them for scrapbooking. Always looking for templates for that. For 50 cents it’s a no fail.
I also found this brand new binder with new pocket dividers and filler paper that I’m planning on using for work.
I have been working on some ideas for craft fair items so i’m hoping to get a few of those together to write about in the coming month or two.
Wish me luck 🙂
