Entering My Music Videos Into Some Competitions
This month and last month, by happenstance, I’ve come across a couple of award competitions with AI categories. So I took that to mean I should probably enter them!

I entered 3 of my music videos into the 30th Annual Webby Awards in a new AI category > Experimental & Innovation as:
Into The Ether: AI Music Project (I Walk Alone (The Hollow Road), Bury The Ashes & Forever, Even If It Ends)
Nomination announcement will be March 2026. Winners will be announced in May 2026.
Today, I read a discord post from a company who makes one of my tools, and they shared about the ‘Chroma Awards’ for AI generated content like films or music videos. The deadline was November 17th! So I saw it just in time!

My submissions to The Chroma Awards showcase the range of my music and visual storytelling under my project Into The Ether. One of the rules is that multiple entries is allowed but there must be unique elements to each that showcase the use of AI in different ways so that is what I did after reviewing my best and most different uses of all the AI tools I use.
Each entry explores a different variations of AI tools — and the music styles are from cinematic hard rock and gothic duets to experimental folk and nu-metal.
These works — I Walk Alone (The Hollow Road), Bury the Ashes, Forever, Even If It Ends, Iconoclast, Shadows Come to Play, and Threshold of the Mirror — together form a portrait of creative experimentation. They reflect how AI tools can be used in different ways and hopefully showcase my abilities.
I don’t know what the outcome will be, but it feels good to take a chance and put my work out there. Every song I create teaches me something new, and these contests are just another step in the journey. Whether I win or not, I’m proud that my music and visuals continue to evolve — and that I get to share that growth with others who love creativity as much as I do.
