This is my website to share my music but also all my creative projects. So I want to share with you my new YouTube Channel.
A year ago I thought of a YouTube channel but it never really got off the ground. Now I’m ready to try to work on it again.
I Have Always Loved Fairy Tales and Fables
To start, years and years ago, I bought a book at a garage sale that was the complete works of the Brothers Grimm. I found out that Grimm’s fairy tales were very different from what Disney does to them. They were even banned if you can believe it. I watched a show on HBO called Jim Henson’s The Storyteller and they recreated some of the ‘real’ original stories by Grimm which I loved watching.
Plan for New Channel and Name
I always loved these stories so would like to recreate the ‘original’ stories in my own way on my new channel. My niece helped me decide on the name. The name she said definitely yes on was ‘The Fable Gable’. A gable is a pointed roof like a cottage where you can visualize a window seat with tons of books to read and escape! I like the sound of it.
I bought the domain name, setup a website, got a logo and animated the logo!
The First Story I’m Working On
I don’t have any videos there just yet, I started working on my first story ‘Hansel & Gretel’. I’ll post here on the blog when I finish the first episode, but for starters here is the logo, animation, and a link to the website if you’d like to see it and subscribe to that YouTube channel.
