Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale Haul
This summer is winding down so there are not many yard sales left in this season. Around this time every year however a local church has a yard sale but also sells spaces to other people as well to put out stands, and this year their entire parking lot was full of stands. One of the largest years i’ve seen. So I definetly went and here are some treasures I found.
Everything I bought here range from 50 cents to 2 dollars.
These ‘NOEL’ glasses were a great price. Great to fill for a christmas gift.
There was a man with a whole table of scrapbooking stickers so I found these statin alphabets that he had 4 packs of for a dollar a piece.
The glass stones in the baggies were only 10 cents but I liked them and I want to someday make fridge magnets.
These white bins in the back of the picture ended up being the perfect height to fit on my hutch. I haven’t been happy with my embellishment storage lately so I thought these would be perfect for it. These 5 bins were also included in the box full of stuff for 3 dollars.
I love collecting interesting tin boxes in good condition. This one was 50 cents. I’m using it to hold my glass stones.
At the bottom of the picture is foam letter stamps that the man selling craft supplies for 2 dollars.
25 green file folders (I have some others this same color that I like alot) for 2 bucks.
All year I’ve been seeing these spool wall racks and every time passed them up. I broke down and bought this one for a dollar because it was the best condition one that I’ve come across all year.
Got more string in colors that I don’t have for my japanese bookbinding.
In the baggie are 3 skeins of this funny yarn that I liked the look of it. Looks like leaves and are autumn colors so I could do something with them for an autum scrapbooking page.
The treat bags were thrown into that box of stuff for 3 dollars.
These circles are the EK Success Curvy Cutter and the cutter which was included in that 3 dollar box of stuff. Along with the 6 x 12 cricut mat.
I got some of the cross stitch cloth for 50 cents a pack because I thought it might be a nice embellishment to a scrapbook page to frame a piece that I stitch a design onto. Would be a nice embellishment to a baby themed page maybe. Maybe even for the title of the page.
Big baggie of envelopes, quilting ruler, stencil, 2 sizes of knitting round needles (that I’ve been thinking about wanting…love it when that happens. These were 50 cents a piece)
I’m sure this cd rack looks familiar. Everytime I see these at yard sales i pick them up and this year i’ve picked up 4 of them. They are great and stackable to hold my nestabilities, cutting dies and embossing folders.
The packs hold phrases confetti. Great to use for scrapbooking pages. These are party themed, and boy page themes.
This crochet book seemed to really go into detail about different stitching and it was only 50cents.
The hole punch was one of those really tiny ones that i’ve been wanting but didn’t want to pay full price for. This one was 2 dollars.
I think it’s important to mention that I didn’t look just for myself, I got some toys for my kid, and movies for the hubby and myself.
All in all it was a good group of stuff to choose from this year!
Thanks for visiting!
