Organized Embroidery Floss Bliss!
This has been done before so I’m not sharing anything really new, but I wanted to share just the great feeling that you get when you organize your supplies! I had my floss crammed into this small orange bin. When I was done I had way more floss than I thought I did…and of every color!
On thanksgiving, Michaels was having a 30% off Entire Order sale with coupon…so needless to say (even though I wasn’t going to go) it was just calling to me so I had to…couldn’t help myself. I’m glad I did because I got some great stuff. One of them was these plastic bobbins and plastic organizer.
The organizer is really for embellishments and beads, but thought it would work perfectly to hold the bobbins.
I’m really glad I got two packs of floss bobbins (28 per pack) cause I used all of them.
It probably took me about 2 hours to finish wrapping all the floss.
This way I can really see what I have and I had more colors than I thought I did that is for sure.
Most of it I had from way back in middle school when was the last time I cross stitched. Along the way, I picked up a few more colors at yard sales, and when Ben Franklins closed.
Thanks for visiting! Happy Weekend!
