Who knows why but I was inspired to make christmas ornaments in july! My goal was to try out my nestabilities and the other die cuts that I got but never used.
I don’t have an ornament hanger so I had to make due with my glass container. I should get one of those things.

White, Shimmering Blue with Pearls Christmas Ornament

Close Up - Pearl accents, paper layering, and dimensional adhesive on sentiment.

Side view, design is repeated on both sides. The sides are covered in silver shimmering paper. Wire strung through middle.

Here are the die cuts I used. Spellbinders Nestabilities Large and Small Standard Circles, and Quickutz Flourishes

I started this project trying to make this shape out of paper, but the middle was too flimsy so I emptied a ribbon bobbin and decided to use this as the base. Here I already mounted the one blue side, then cut the opening bigger to be able to string the wire through the middle.

Final touches were some pearl accents, a sentiment that I layered with more embossed circle cuts and some silver ribbon around the top.

My Order Arrived! I'll post the details and my review of scrapbuck.com tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting!

This is me.
