Backyard Wildflowers
In the spring, we got 2 big bags of wildflower seeds. I LOVE wildflowers and the surprise of what would actually grow sounded fun to me…so there were two places in our backyard that didnt’ really have anything else going on there, and what sprang up a few weeks later was exciting to say the least! So one sunny morning, I went around and snapped all the different varieties.
For this group of photos, I then thought about experimenting with the Nik Collection filters I got a couple years ago that I hope to learn more and play more with in my future posts.
To see the before and after, I’ve made the photos below so that you hover over each and see the unfiltered and filtered versions.
Lesson of the Day: “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. ” – Elliot Erwitt
