Yard Sale Supply Finds
Glad to be back after a bit. Been doing a lot of behind the scenes work on my site to try to make blogging easier (like automatic watermarks on photos), and it’s yard sale season so most Saturday mornings I’ve been out and about stocking up on supplies I’ve came across at a good price so thought I’d share a couple items I found recently.
I came across this macramé yarn which is one thing I don’t have any of in my supplies. I never had seen any at a yard sale before. Liked the colors. For two bucks I figured i’d see what I could make with it.
I really like foam stamps but I only have a few so when I saw all these for a dollar, including the case, I figured i’d pick them up. Nice large ones with generic subjects. Nice large holiday phrases as well.
I love collecting gift wrapping supplies like boxes and wrapping paper, and I came across these little favor boxes that must have been left over from a wedding. I gave her 2 bucks for them learning there were 52 boxes left. Doesn’t ‘look’ like 52 boxes but I thought it was a fair price and also a size I don’t have. I also like new ways to give money to people as gifts vs. always a card, so thought this would be a good size for that.
Lastly, I usually don’t pass up a quilt book in this good of condition and for 50 cents I couldn’t say no.
Pretty good weekend finds I should say. Hope your sale-ing went well this past weekend!
